About Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a state of mind similar to daydreaming, where the body and the conscious mind are relaxed, and the subconscious mind is awake and receptive to instructions.

During a light trance you will feel deeply relaxed and comfortable, and you will remain fully in control. Your attention is focused inwards, on your internal images, sounds and feelings, but if the need arose, you could come out of it at any time.

A trance is induced through deep relaxation. Once this state has been achieved, analysis can be used to find the root of a problem, and positive new behaviours and responses are suggested to the sub-conscious mind, where they have a deep and long-lasting effect.

About EFT

EFT is a meridian based therapy which involves tapping on meridian points on the face and hands. Similar to acupuncture without needles, the treatment is safe, gentle and highly effective at clearing a wide range of emotional and physical problems. It works brilliantly on its own or in combination with hypnotherapy for clearing emotional problems, stress and anxiety, traumas, phobias and addictions

About NLP

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), is a quick, effective tool for change. It is used in therapy for instantly transforming patterns of behaviour such as phobias, unwanted habits, fears and anxieties.

It can also be used for giving people the emotional resources they need to be more effective in a given situation. The intention of NLP is to give you more choices.

In it's wider context, NLP is the art and science of excellence, derived from studying how top people in different fields obtain their outstanding results. It is used in business, education, communication and therapy.

About The Sessions

Sessions usually last for 90 minutes, and contain a blend of analysis, discussion, relaxation, hypnotherapy, NLP, EFT and goal setting. Each session is determined by your needs at the time. For most people one session per week seems to work best, but if this is not convenient a different arrangement can be made. This form of treatment is a brief therapy, and an improvement will be noticed after each session - including the first.

Sessions are held at The Space in Ipswich, which is situated on Ransomes Europark and I work with both private and corporate clients.
